Grosvenor Casinos hires 10 from Nottingham gaming academy for jobseekers

Grosvenor Casinos has highlighted its gaming academy in Nottingham, which is helping those seeking jobs into employment.

The casino chain ran a four-week academy program to help people without employment become casino dealers, including training across a wide range of table games such as poker, blackjack and roulette.

At the end of the program, 10 people between 18-30 were offered employment by the operator, while they were also taught about the importance of responsible gambling.

Daren Brain, General Manager at Grosvenor Casino Nottingham,os melhores slots commented on the Gaming Academy: “We have a strong track record for providing training opportunities for city’s job seekers to upskill and join our team. Meanwhile, Emily Poxson, an 18-year-old trainee from Nottingham, said of the scheme: “I was completely new to casinos and gambling when I decided to join the Gaming Academy.

"Taking part in this training has allowed me to learn so much about the different casino games and I was really surprised at how accessible they are, as well as how many women come to play.

“This experience has been the most fun I have ever had in a job, and enjoyed the support and training we’ve received.”
